Integrated fire detection and accurate in seconds - Bosch introduce AVIOTEC video based Fire Detection
• Using Intelligent Video Analysis to detect smoke and fire
• Rapid detection happens in seconds and can be trusted
Munich - Bosch Security Systems introduce AVIOTEC, new solutions for a reliable fire detection and early in a challenging environment. Created by Bosch camera technology and Intelligent Video Analysis Bosch (IVA), based fire detection can supplement video state-of-the-art fire detection technology and enable early detection of smoke and fire in an environment in which difficult to determine the exact reaction time of fire like buildings with high ceilings or areas are dusty and humid. AVIOTEC can also secure an environment where there is no other solution that is able, for example, a saw mill or paper mill, hangars or monitoring very large areas.
Detecting the fire at its source
Using intelligent algorithms in surveillance cameras, AVIOTEC can identify smoke and flames quickly once they come to around the camera rather than having to wait for the smoke to the smoke detector. By detecting a fire at the source rather than the ceiling, the camera can issue an alarm in seconds while the detector point can occur within minutes to detect alarm conditions. AVIOTEC based on intelligent algorithms to distinguish between real fires and several other disorders such as reflection, movement or backlight. This ensures a highly reliable detection with virtually no false alarms. AVIOTEC offers proven reliability in all fire detection test (TF1 through TF8) as contained in EN54
Video-based fire detection system AVIOTEC with good scale from a single camera to camera network system that is distributed with the console and the central management system. Using Bosch Dynamic Transcoding technology can deliver to the alarm panel that no fire alarm or send them via Ethernet to the monitoring center or even mobile devices such as the iPad. Receiving HD quality video images in real time gives firefighters a good understanding of the current situation before they even arrive on the scene.
Combining safety and security
The camera is easy to install and require little maintenance is different from the smoke and fire detectors. The use of cameras PoE (Power over Ethernet) can eliminate the need for individual power supplies and power lines, making AVIOTEC even more efficient in terms of cost. AVIOTEC can also be used for facilities that are very small and are distributed such as power stations and signal boxes which are not useful for the installation of the fire panel.
